If we the FAT-Philistines deny the public these wonderful odes, we would surely be drawing a dark cloud over Jena, rushing the Saale to a torrent, and our labels' future as cursed and be-damned; as if Frodo had never thrown the ring into the inferno within the Mountain of Doom. That is the dance-electronic homage to a conflicting and at the same time dazzling city in South America. Belief, joy, hope, sadness, longing, and melancholy are brought to you direct out of the heart of Kadebostan to the dancers. How important and beguilingly embracing melody structures can be in house and techno, are demonstrated here with effective clarity. Latin-American, feminine vocals are through force and economy, artily arranged for European ears without the kitsch.
